More frequently encountered are smaller snakes such as the Eastern Garter Snake, which are found in wet or moist environments preying upon frogs, fish, worms, or mice.

Here we have provided you with basic information on the most common snakes in Ontario. For further information please drop us an This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.">email or call us at 1-888-681-6266.

Snake Control

Snake removal and control is often improperly executed.  Typical pest control companies primarily manage invertebrates and small mammals.  These types of pests may be managed with poisons; however, snakes cannot be effectively controlled in this way.  Pest issues involving snakes require be trapping and removal by wildlife control experts, such as our qualified Nimby employees. Many species of snakes in Ontario are nearing extinction because many of their natural habitats have been eliminated or they have been hunted as dangerous animals by misinformed people.  When in doubt about your snake problem, call a Nimby professional.
